Incorporating a property involves the legal ownership of the property moving from individual ownership to a corporate entity.

More accurately, it’s the purchase of the subject property by a Limited Company (Special Purchase Vehicle or SPV for short) from a linked individual.

One of the main considerations is the tax treatment rental income attracts in personal ownership versus corporate ownership. Inheritance tax can also be a consideration if intending to leave properties to children or grandchildren.
